Today, at the SCDF 3rd Div Yishun Fire Station, one of our Core Team members, Kurade Bhagwant, received the Community Life-saver Award (CLA) in recognition of his heroic actions.

Last month, an unfortunate fire broke out in a neighboring flat, and Kurade, who resided just one floor below, acted swiftly. He promptly contacted the SCDF and took the initiative to inform and assist his neighbors in evacuating the premises. Additionally, he went above and beyond by aiding an elderly lady who lived alone. She was unable to descend the stairs unaided due to her ailing condition.

Following the incident, Ms. Carrie Tan, our MP, commended Kurade for his exceptional efforts.
